CLEMENT TENG

DIRECTOR

Clement holds a Bachelor of Commerce (UNSW) and is a Chartered Accountant with an Advanced Certification in Insolvency (ARITA). With more than a decade of corporate insolvency and restructuring experience, Clement has been involved in the successful restructuring or orderly wind down of businesses across a myriad of industries. In addition to the various formal insolvency appointments, Clement is also experienced in other non-formal engagements including business advisory, forensic review, restructuring review and assisting experts in preparing expert solvency reports. Clement is particularly well-versed in property-related engagements ranging from receiverships, mortgagee-in-possession appointments, to Section 66G appointments. O’Brien Palmer takes pride in Clement’s multilingual capabilities (including fluent spoken and written Mandarin) as he acts as a key liaison for the firm’s clientele of a diversified background and culture.

Con joined O’Brien Palmer in October 2022 and has over 13 years of experience in the insolvency sector. His background within the finance industry has provided him with the ability to best assist his clients and understand their financial position. Con has gained experience on a wide variety of corporate insolvency engagements from an array of industries and has assisted in a number of corporate work outs and restructures. Con has developed these skills, which have been key to progress complex matters he is involved with, to develop and maintain a strong client network with existing clients and to build relationships with new clients.

Nathan has developed these skills to assist on complex matters as well as managing and retaining strong client relationships with new and existing clients.

CRAIG TINKLER

PRACTICE MANAGER

Craig has been with O’Brien Palmer for over nine years, and has over sixteen years’ experience in the insolvency industry. Craig has experience across a broad variety of both corporate and personal insolvency appointments, as well as litigation of insolvency matters, including being involved in the setting of numerous legal precedents. Craig is the Practice Manager of the firm, providing his experience and technical skills to complex matters undertaken by the firm, as well as day to day management of the firm.

Ibby is a driven Insolvency, Restructuring and Turnaround Practitioner / Accountant with over 8 years experience on various engagements including liquidations, voluntary administrations, mortgagee in possession, expert solvency reports and receiverships. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting, Finance and Small Business Accounting).

Ibby possesses a burning passion and dedication to assist, mitigate and find solutions for distressed businesses in the SME market and his experience spans across a multitude of industries including residential and commercial construction, retail, labour hire, hospitality, manufacturing and food services. In his spare time, Ibby enjoys playing soccer, gaming and is a keen Liverpool FC supporter.

Rob is a Manager at O’Brien Palmer with over 13 years experience in Corporate and Personal Insolvency. He has a wide ranging knowledge of various types administrations, including Voluntary Administration, Liquidations and Personal Insolvency and Debt Agreements.

RICHARD DODARO

Richard holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and Finance, UTS) and a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting. With more than 7 years of experience in all formal corporate insolvency matters, Richard has been involved in the winding down and restructuring of businesses over a variety of industries. In addition, Richard also has two years of experience as a forensic accountant and has assisted in the preparation of expert solvency reports.

Adrian joined O’Brien Palmer in July 2017 having completed a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Accounting). Adrian has over 8 years of insolvency experience, having worked on a wide variety of personal and corporate insolvency matters from many different industries. He is a member of ARITA having completed the ARITA Advanced Certificate in Insolvency and intends to continue his studies through the Chartered Accountants program. Adrian is also a Justice of the Peace in and for the state of New South Wales.

Bayley joined O’Brien Palmer in April 2019 as our Office Administrator and Coordinator. In December 2022, she transitioned to a professional role, gaining extensive experience in various appointments including creditors’ voluntary liquidations and voluntary administrations. Currently, Bayley serves as both the firm’s Bookkeeper and Office Administration Manager. She is diligently working towards her Bachelor of Business with a major in Accounting and plans to pursue the Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) program upon completion of her degree.

Lorcan holds a Bachelor of Law from Aston University, UK, and is currently pursuing his ACCA qualification to become a Chartered Accountant. He has experience in both UK and Irish insolvency regimes, having worked in London and Dublin. Lorcan has been involved in various engagements, including advisory matters, small business restructuring, and both solvent and insolvent liquidations, across sectors such as construction, agriculture and financial services. Whilst at O’Brien Palmer, Lorcan has contributed to the successful restructuring or orderly winddown of several businesses across Sydney and New South Wales.

Skala joined O’Brien Palmer in March 2023 as an Intermediate Accountant having completed a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Professional Accounting, and a Bachelor of Business Analytics at Macquarie University. Whilst at O’Brien Palmer, Skala has since been promoted to a Senior Accountant gained experience in a variety of administrations, including court liquidations, creditors voluntary liquidations and voluntary administrations. Skala is poised to support clients through challenging financial situations, contributing to O’Brien Palmer’s mission with professionalism and enthusiasm. She wishes to further her professional development by completing the Charted Accountant (CAANZ) program in the near future.

Karina works closely with stakeholders and legal advisors to deliver practical, compliant, and commercially sound solutions during periods of financial distress. Recognised for her balanced, solutions-focused approach, she is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and professionalism in delivering the best possible outcome for stakeholders on every engagement.

As an active member of ARITA, Karina remains engaged in ongoing professional development and industry reform to ensure her clients benefit from current best practices and insights.

Tim commenced his insolvency career in February 2020 with a predominant background in personal insolvency. Tim has gained exposure to various personal insolvency appointments, including bankruptcies, section 73 compositions and personal insolvency agreements. He actively works to achieve outcomes that benefit all stakeholders and focuses on working with individuals to assist them through all aspects of a personal insolvency appointment.

Since joining O’Brien Palmer in August 2023, Tim has gained experience in corporate insolvency and assisted on matters pertaining to court liquidations and deed of company arrangements. Tim graduated from Western Sydney University and holds a Bachelor of Business and Commerce (major in Accounting and sub major in Management). Outside of work, Tim volunteers his time at his cultural association and instills his corporate experience back into the local community.

With a background in accounting, including experience in budgeting for a large organisation, she brings a strategic and problem‐solving approach to her role. Laura is keen to expand her expertise, focusing on personal insolvency and deepening her knowledge of corporate insolvency.

Currently progressing through the Chartered Accountant program, Laura combines empathy, professionalism, and a sharp attention to detail to support clients through complex financial challenges. Her previous experience includes volunteering to assist low‐income taxpayers, where she not only helped with tax return preparation but also empowered individuals by providing them with the knowledge to manage their tax affairs independently. Her dedication, combined with her diverse skill set, ensures more comprehensive support for our clients.

Luka joined O’Brien Palmer in February 2025 after completing a Bachelor of Business majoring in Business Management from the University of Technology Sydney. Luka’s sharp, analytical mind is an asset to the several external administrations he has carriage of, and his attention to detail leaves no stone un-turned.

He specialises in the liquidation of small businesses and directly dealing with directors and creditors, and truly believes in a community-centred approach is key when dealing with all stakeholders. He has also played an instrumental role in obtaining favourable outcomes for all parties in several small business restructuring appointments.
