We recently had the privilege of bringing together some of our valued referrers, business contacts, colleagues, staff and friends of the firm to celebrate a very special milestone: 30 years of O’Brien Palmer.
It was a wonderful evening at Pier One on Sydney Harbour, and more than anything, it was an opportunity to say thank you.
Thank you to everyone who has supported O’Brien Palmer over the years, referred work to us, trusted us with clients, worked alongside us, challenged us, encouraged us and helped shape the firm into what it is today.
A special thank you to Christopher Palmer, founding partner of O’Brien Palmer, whose extraordinary contribution to the insolvency profession spans 50 years, including 43 years as a registered liquidator. Chris has been a mentor, colleague and friend to many, including myself, and his impact on the firm is immeasurable.
We also acknowledge John O’Brien, fellow founding partner of O’Brien Palmer, who remains an important part of the firm’s legacy.
I also would like to acknowledge our other partners Daniel Frisken and Ahmed Sowaid, who have had a significant influence in helping modernise the firm and shape its future direction. Their contribution has helped O’Brien Palmer continue to grow, evolve and embrace the firm we are today.
A heartfelt thank you also goes to the long-standing members of our team, including Andy Cowled, who has been with O’Brien Palmer for more than 20 years, as well as other long-timers Robert Clapham and Adrian Franco, whose loyalty, support and contribution have helped build the firm into what it is today.
Reaching 30 years as an independent firm is something we are incredibly proud of. In an industry that is constantly changing, it is unique for a firm like ours to continue operating, growing and supporting people for three decades.
O’Brien Palmer has always been more than just a business. It is a network of people, relationships, shared trust and meaningful work. We are proud of the people we have helped, the team we have built, and the role we continue to play in supporting businesses, directors, creditors and professionals through difficult moments.
